The Unites States Government have produced a website specifically for their citizens, to warn, advise and help prevent them getting hacked, abused and conned by e-criminals.

Should one of their citizens pc's get hacked, or they get conned, or even if there is just an attempt of **"phishing" them, they have somewhere to report it. There are guides and videos on the site that every single home user of the Internet should watch. The link to the site is here http://onguardonline.gov/index.html (the quiz on phishing is simple and to the point and applies Worldwide http://onguardonline.gov/quiz/phishing_quiz.html ). We have for a number of months asked the Government why there isn't something similar for the benefit of UK Citizens, to no avail. It would appear that we are a lone voice in the wilderness. So, we are raising a petition to force the Government into action. We urge you to either complete the petition, or indeed lobby your local MP. Ask them why there is no website giving help and advice and warning of the dangers on the Internet? Why there is nowhere to report attempted fraud? Why there is no special task force to hunt down the cyber criminals? Ask them how an ID card would help to prevent somebody's ID being stolen on the Internet?

The Police are currently doing a great job at hunting down paedophiles, with some more resources they could use a lot of the same forensic technology to bring the e-criminals to book. Please help get this into motion by completing one of the following;
